Senior Infringement Review Officer

About the role

The City of Boroondara is seeking a Senior Infringement Review Officer to lead a high‑performing, customer‑focused team. This fixed‑term, full‑time position (until July 2027) offers the chance to make a tangible impact on community safety and compliance while working in a supportive, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Infringement Review Team, ensuring timely and accurate assessment of review applications.
• Investigate infringement appeals in line with the Infringements Act 2006, council guidelines and legislative requirements.
• Provide professional advice and produce legally sound decisions on enforcement or withdrawal of notices.
• Identify and implement process improvements, contributing to projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
