About the role

Medibank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Digital Engineering team. You will help create scalable, customer‑focused web solutions that improve health and wellbeing across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality web applications and digital experiences.
• Provide technical leadership across agile delivery teams.
• Champion engineering best practices, code quality and modern development standards.
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong engineering culture.

• Support production systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on web development.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives in an agile environment.
• Passion for mentoring others and driving engineering excellence.
