Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend Focus)

About the role

Mable, a leading Australian healthtech platform, is looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development. You will help ensure the reliability and performance of our platform, delivering robust, scalable solutions that support thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs on AWS.
• Take technical ownership of end‑to‑end software projects, ensuring code quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholder teams to solve complex problems.
• Produce clear documentation, including data flows, diagrams, and test results.
• Investigate and resolve production issues based on customer feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural discussions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional software development experience in test‑driven development environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement backend solutions from requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
• Experience working with version control and agile tools.
