Senior Full Stack Developer – Melbourne

About the role

Ready Media Group is looking for a senior full‑stack developer to lead the architecture, development and optimisation of its digital property platforms. You will modernise a PHP‑centric stack while introducing React, Next.js and Node.js, and drive AI‑enabled product experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture of all RMG digital platforms, primarily PHP‑based.
• Design and implement scalable backend systems, APIs, service layers and integration frameworks.
• Lead the evolution of the technology stack, adopting modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js and Node.js.
• Coordinate on‑shore and offshore development teams to maintain consistent engineering standards.
• Enable AI‑driven workflows, new website features and digital product experiences.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in full‑stack development and system architecture.
• Deep knowledge of PHP applications and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor both local and offshore engineering teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on scalability and performance.
