Senior Financial Planner

About the role

CFV Advisory is seeking a self‑motivated Senior Financial Planner to deliver comprehensive advice to dual‑income professional couples and pre‑retirement clients. You will work across both accumulation and pre‑retirement niches, translating complex financial concepts into clear, actionable plans.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand goals, risk tolerance and financial position.
• Design tailored financial plans for accumulation and pre‑retirement stages.
• Lead strategy meetings, implement advice and monitor portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Maintain client relationships, responding to requests within agreed timeframes.
• Stay updated on industry developments, best practices and regulatory changes.
• Maintain accurate client records in collaboration with support staff.
• Conduct research, financial modelling and projections.
• Support the principal with case studies and content creation as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to clearly articulate the value of financial advice in plain English.
• Genuine team player comfortable collaborating with principal, support staff and external partners.
• Relevant provider status under the Corporations Act (approved degree, passed Financial Adviser Exam, ASIC register listing or eligibility).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in wealth management and financial advice delivery.
