Senior Estimator

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its Sydney team. You will lead the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for major infrastructure tenders, supporting the company’s mission to deliver sustainable, regenerative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for major infrastructure tenders from concept to submission.
• Lead quantity take‑offs and cost forecasting activities.
• Coordinate input across engineering, design, and commercial teams.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy.
• Identify, assess, and price project risks and opportunities.
• Mentor junior estimators and support their professional development.
• Present estimates and cost strategies to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, construction or quantity surveying.
• Proven experience estimating on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural or MEP scopes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
