Senior Engineer - Secondary

About the role

CPP, a high-voltage infrastructure provider within Quanta Services, is hiring a Senior Engineer - Secondary for its Adelaide engineering hub. Reporting to the Manager - Secondary Design, you will support the growth of the hub and deliver high-voltage substation projects across Australia's renewable energy and utility sectors, working closely with the engineering team, construction and operations teams, field staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate precision designs for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in high-voltage utility and renewable projects
• Deliver complex internal and external secondary system design projects
• Check secondary system design outputs
• Support field staff, customers and colleagues with timely and accurate technical designs

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role within energy/electrical utilities or renewable industries
• High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
