Senior Engineer - Bridges & Structures

About the role

SMEC is seeking a Senior Engineer – Bridges & Structures to join its Perth team. You will work on transport infrastructure projects, providing technical expertise and supporting the delivery of complex engineering outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structural analysis and design in line with technical standards, client requirements, and SMEC expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders to ensure quality, timeliness, and coordination of deliverables.
• Support the successful delivery of projects, contributing to commercial outcomes and overall team performance.
• Apply project management principles to manage assigned tasks and meet project objectives on time and to the required standard.

Required profile

• Experienced structural engineer with a strong background in transport infrastructure design.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes.
