Senior Electrical Project Engineer

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with strong electrical engineering expertise to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects in Australia. You will be responsible for translating detailed engineering designs into practical construction solutions while ensuring safety, quality and schedule performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction methodologies and Construction Method Statements (CMS) to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional engineering, construction and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges and optimise project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project execution plans, resource schedules, labour histograms and delivery strategies aligned with programme milestones and budget.
• Identify schedule risks, analyse procurement and logistics constraints, and implement mitigation strategies to protect the critical path.
• Oversee construction engineering activities, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance and driving accountability across the site.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in electrical systems engineering within a construction environment.
• Proven ability to develop and implement construction methodologies and method statements.
• Strong analytical skills for schedule risk management and procurement logistics.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
