Senior Electrical Engineer - Mineral Processing

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES), a process engineering consulting and contracting company serving the mining and mineral processing industries, is looking for experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to join its Engineering Team. Based at the Ascot office, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team on projects across Australia covering commodities such as gold, copper and iron ore, with regular site visits depending on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Project design and execution for mineral processing plants
• Provide specialist engineering expertise and ensure robust change control processes and documentation standards are followed
• Collaborate with other disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables for technically complex designs
• Provide mentoring and act as a leader within the Engineering team

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
• 6+ years' experience in a similar role
• Experience leading technical input into projects and working with major mining clients to Australian standards
• Current National Police clearance, White Card and full, unrestricted Australian working rights

Required skills

• Digital engineering tools
• Thorough understanding of 3D CAD modelling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
