Senior Digital Strategist

About the role

Defiant Digital is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to lead end‑to‑end client relationships across paid media, creative, CRO, landing pages, email and SMS. This senior seat focuses on setting strategic direction, aligning specialist teams, and ensuring every channel drives cohesive growth for DTC brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full client lifecycle from onboarding to retention, acting as the primary strategic partner.
• Lead strategy meetings, present comprehensive plans, and coordinate specialist teams (media buyers, creative strategists, CRO practitioners, retention experts).
• Monitor daily pacing across all channels, make proactive adjustments, and deliver clear weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports.
• Communicate account health, wins and risks to the Head of Strategy on a weekly basis.
• Drive client growth while maintaining high satisfaction and long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in digital agencies managing multi‑million‑dollar ad spend profitably.
• Proven ability to influence founders, CMOs and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on commercial outcomes.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Meta Ads and Google Ads management.
• Solid experience with TikTok and YouTube advertising.
• Proficiency in CRO, lifecycle marketing and DTC funnel dynamics.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Klaviyo, GA4 and Shopify platforms.
