Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Native Platform

About the role

The client, a leading enterprise financial services organisation, is looking for a Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer to drive automation, security and operational excellence for critical post‑trade and payments platforms. You will work across cloud, infrastructure and application teams to build and operate secure, highly available, cloud‑native platforms supporting trading, settlements and payments processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks.
• Develop and operate Kubernetes‑based platforms (EKS) for multiple engineering teams.
• Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD, FluxCD, Helm and Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management via Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Build observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting) and improve platform reliability, scalability and security.
• Support release management, production deployments and incident resolution.

Required profile

• Strong experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE, preferably in regulated financial services.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, EKS and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven track record with Terraform, CI/CD tools and GitOps operating models.
• Solid scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash or similar languages.
