Senior Developer

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join our production support team. The role focuses primarily on maintaining and enhancing critical applications, ensuring high availability and rapid resolution of incidents. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver reliable services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 90% of production support activities, including incident, problem, and service request management.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate solutions effectively.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
Required profile
- Strong background in production support and IT service management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
Required skills
- Visual COBOL development.
- Enterprise Server environment.
- Oracle database expertise, including SQL and PL/SQL.
- UNIX shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
