Senior Designer / Architect – Infrastructure (Data Centre)

About the role

Architectus is seeking a Senior Designer / Senior Architect to join its Infrastructure team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality projects, particularly data‑centre peer review, production and detailed documentation, while working with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural and technical documentation for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct data‑centre peer reviews and ensure compliance with design standards.
• Lead or support project delivery, balancing design quality, client expectations, team collaboration and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate complex building services such as laboratories, advanced manufacturing, rail or aviation facilities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑graduate experience, preferably registered.
• Advanced knowledge of design principles, building materials, construction methods, codes, standards and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage time, priorities and delegated tasks with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
