Senior Corporate Tax Consultant – Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Corporate Tax practice within the Financial Services sector. You will work with a collaborative team of tax professionals serving multinational clients across Australia, delivering both compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax provisions, returns and related reporting for inbound and outbound multinational clients.
• Participate in tax advisory assignments, providing strategic guidance to clients.
• Delegate work to junior staff and ensure high‑quality delivery of compliance services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and existing clients, while identifying opportunities for new engagements.

Required profile

• Experience in income tax compliance, provision and return preparation, preferably within a professional services firm in Australia.
• Strong attention to detail, task‑oriented and able to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent people skills and a willingness to develop client relationships.
• Completed or in‑progress CA qualification or equivalent.
