Senior Consultant – Technology Strategy & Transformation

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Technology Strategy & Transformation practice. The role will support clients in the energy and resources sector, helping them define and deliver business and technology objectives through innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology strategies and operating models aligned with client business goals.
• Lead design and execution of transformation initiatives that drive innovation, operational efficiency and business value.
• Gather and analyse business requirements through stakeholder engagement, workshops and interviews.
• Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and strategic recommendations.
• Create and refine enterprise, business and systems architectures, considering the impact of AI.
• Support organisational design, process improvement and business process mapping activities.
• Enhance IT service management practices using recognised frameworks such as ITIL.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools to improve insights, accelerate outcomes and support transformation delivery.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in technology strategy, transformation or advisory engagements.
• Strong understanding of technology operating models, enterprise technology environments and business transformation.
• Experience working with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outcomes.
• Knowledge of IT service management practices and frameworks such as ITIL.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities.
