Senior Consultant - Business Transformation, Financial Services

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant for its Business Transformation practice in Sydney, focused on financial services clients. You will help organisations deliver results on some of Australia's largest and most complex transformation projects, such as unlocking operational efficiencies or driving growth through change.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in delivering business transformation projects covering strategic cost reduction and operational efficiency, process optimisation and ways of working, operating model design and implementation, growth strategy and digital transformation
• Deliver complex transformation programmes across the full lifecycle, from strategy through design to implementation
• Contribute to business development and account management, including pursuits, proposals and managing key relationships

Required profile

• Hands-on experience delivering projects or programmes involving business and/or technology transformation, preferably in the financial services environment
• Management consulting experience from a Big 4 or boutique firm is highly desirable
• Ability to think strategically while working closely with clients

Required skills

• Structured approach to critical problem solving
• Understanding of business operations, sales, service and marketing transformation, and using insights for strategic decisions
• Written and verbal communication, able to explain complex technical and business concepts to internal and external stakeholders
