Senior Civil Designer - Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage

About the role

Ausenco, a global engineering and consulting firm with offices in 21 countries, is hiring a Senior Civil Designer in Perth. The role was created because of a growing pipeline of awarded international minerals projects in diverse commodities. The successful candidate will bring the right client and team focus and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop earthwork design solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure all design outputs and documentation are accurate, complete and aligned with project standards.
• Uphold consistent drafting practices by following Ausenco's design and documentation standards across all projects.
• Provide technical expertise and support to team members within the discipline.
• Mentor and assist graduate engineers and designers to foster their professional growth.

Required profile

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage design, in industries such as mining, mineral processing, materials handling or heavy industry.
• Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with excellent time management and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proven expertise in Civil 3D, 12D and AutoCAD is highly regarded.
