Senior Civil Designer (Drafter) – Brisbane

About the role

Based in our Brisbane office, ADG is looking for a skilled Drafter/Designer – Civil to join a growing, collaborative team. You will contribute to high‑quality civil engineering designs that support a diverse client base across infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil designs and documentation using 12D, AutoCAD and related software in line with ADG standards.
• Monitor project scope, quality, costs and schedules to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Track progress and report on quality, cost and schedule performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external disciplines to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Apply construction methodology knowledge to inform design decisions.
• Assist in preparing fee proposals and tender submissions.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience designing earthworks, drainage, road works, and sewer/water systems.
• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent (or currently completing).
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Codes and local authority drafting requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and allocate time effectively.
