Senior Brand Manager - Innovation

About the role

This brand‑new opportunity at Mars will let you shape the future of iconic food brands such as MasterFoods, Ben’s Original, Dolmio and Kantong. You will own a transformational innovation agenda, define a 5‑year roadmap and turn consumer, cultural and category trends into breakthrough products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy, pipeline and prioritisation for the transformative innovation portfolio.
• Translate consumer and market insights into compelling innovation platforms and growth opportunities.
• Build robust business cases to secure investment, stakeholder support and retailer excitement.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through complex innovation projects, balancing speed, creativity and commercial rigour.
• Own delivery from concept through launch, ensuring milestones and operational readiness are met.
• Embed best‑practice innovation tools and processes to improve development speed and launch success.

Required profile

• 6+ years of marketing experience with strong portfolio strategy and innovation exposure.
• Proven FMCG background, taking innovations from insight to market launch.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to build financially sound business cases.
• Strategic thinker who can connect big‑picture ideas to practical execution.
• Confident cross‑functional leader who can influence without authority.
• Curious, creative and comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity.

Required skills

• Experience developing product, pricing, packaging and route‑to‑market propositions.
• Ability to track innovation performance, risks and critical success factors.
• Partnering skills with global teams and external agencies.
