Senior Banking Consultant – Part‑time

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Banking Consultant to join its Charters Towers branch on a part‑time basis. You will deliver a seamless banking experience, helping customers meet their financial goals through tailored conversations and a full suite of ANZ products, including digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an initiator and role model for ANZ products, supporting the Branch Manager in executing the retail strategy.
• Provide customers with home loan, insurance, investment, and transactional services that match their needs.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Deliver a positive, relationship‑based experience that turns customers into advocates for ANZ.
• Coach peers and model best practices to ensure consistent high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Prior experience in retail banking or personal banking with a strong focus on relationship building.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct needs‑based conversations and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Understanding of risk and compliance requirements in a banking environment.
• Commitment to delivering ANZ’s Customer Promises and high service standards.
