Senior Audit Analyst

About the role

Join the Audit & Assurance Services division of Nexia Edwards Marshall to support audit teams in delivering high‑quality financial audits. You will develop analytical and technical expertise while working closely with managers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting external financial audits and reporting audit results.
• Assess and review internal controls, document client processes, and test key controls.
• Perform substantive audit procedures on assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses.
• Draft engagement letters, strategy reports, completion reports and audit reports for review.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years external audit experience in an Australian accounting practice.
• Completed or ongoing Chartered Accountants Program (CA ANZ) or CPA Australia qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and audit procedures.
• Experience with external audit engagements.
