Senior Associate - Strategy

About the role

The Senior Associate – Strategy will join ANZ’s Institutional Strategy & Execution team, supporting senior leaders to shape and drive the strategic direction of the Institutional division. You will translate market, regulatory and customer insights into actionable propositions and help deliver growth, profitability and customer activity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development, communication and execution of Institutional strategy, aligning with enterprise priorities.
• Coordinate strategic priorities across business units and drive transformational initiatives.
• Analyse data to identify new revenue opportunities, growth pools and innovation prospects.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, Strategy, Transformation Office, Risk, Technology and Operations to improve performance metrics such as CTI and ROE.
• Ensure Institutional priorities are aligned with Group‑wide strategic objectives.

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.
