Senior Associate - Project Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to lead one of Queensland’s largest health infrastructure projects. The role combines strategic design leadership with hands‑on project management, guiding a multidisciplinary team from concept through construction to deliver a resilient, inclusive public health facility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a large, multidisciplinary design team, fostering a culture of design excellence and collaboration.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring the design vision is maintained from concept to construction.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, communicating progress and quality standards.
• Navigate Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and Design & Construct delivery models while protecting design integrity.
• Mentor emerging leaders and support their professional growth.

Required profile

• Registered architect at Senior Associate level with extensive experience on large‑scale, complex projects, preferably in the health sector.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor diverse design teams of 20+ members.
• Strong communicator who can unite stakeholders around a shared purpose.
• Deep understanding of design management and coordination across all project stages.
• Familiarity with Revit and modern collaborative digital workflows.
