Senior Associate – Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team of a leading independent Australian law firm in Brisbane. The role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of commercial disputes and the chance to work alongside some of the country's most respected litigators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and advise on contractual disputes, shareholder and directors' duties matters.
• Conduct litigation involving misleading and deceptive conduct, regulatory investigations by ASIC and ACCC, and white‑collar crime.
• Collaborate with senior litigators across the firm to develop case strategy and courtroom advocacy.
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• 4 to 9 years of post‑admission experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse range of litigious matters, including corporate and regulatory cases.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Motivation to build a professional profile within a collaborative team environment.

Required skills

• Experience in commercial litigation practice.
• Knowledge of Australian corporate and regulatory law (ASIC, ACCC).
