Senior Associate – Internal Audit

About the role

The Senior Associate – Internal Audit will lead and conduct internal audit engagements for public‑purpose clients, addressing operational, strategic, compliance and financial risks. You will work within a collaborative national and local team, providing guidance to junior members and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct internal audit engagements, including fieldwork and internal controls testing.
• Develop strategic internal audit plans and prepare audit reports for senior stakeholders.
• Work across multiple client engagement teams within the practice.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Develop strong client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Take ownership of deliverables, leveraging broader team resources as needed.
• Contribute to the development of Scyne Advisory’s service offerings and internal tools.
• Report and present findings to senior business stakeholders.
