Senior Associate – Executive Search

About the role

Robert Half Executive Search is seeking a commercially‑minded Senior Associate to join its high‑performing Sydney team. You will work closely with Managing Directors and senior consultants to drive executive search engagements across a range of industries, from start‑ups to ASX‑listed companies.

Key responsibilities

• Support client requirement gathering and participate in kick‑off meetings.
• Develop search strategies and create detailed position specifications.
• Conduct market mapping and build targeted candidate pipelines.
• Head‑hunt senior executives through tailored outreach and conduct in‑depth interviews.
• Manage search execution, including reporting, tracking and documentation.
• Prepare high‑quality candidate profiles and client‑ready written materials.
• Gather market intelligence and provide insights on industry talent trends.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified professional with experience in permanent placement, corporate recruitment or executive search.
• Proven track record of placing talent at management or senior leadership level.
• Methodical, diligent and disciplined approach to sourcing hard‑to‑reach executives.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
