Senior Associate – Executive Search

About the role

Robert Half Executive Search is seeking a commercially minded Senior Associate to join its high‑performing Sydney team. In this hands‑on position you will partner closely with Managing Directors and senior consultants to drive executive search engagements from inception to placement.

Key responsibilities

• Support client requirement gathering, including research and participation in kick‑off meetings.
• Collaborate on search strategy development and creation of position specifications.
• Conduct detailed market mapping and build targeted candidate pipelines.
• Engage and headhunt senior executives through tailored outreach.
• Screen candidates and conduct in‑depth interviews to assess technical and cultural fit.
• Manage search execution, including reporting, tracking, and documentation.
• Prepare high‑quality candidate profiles and client‑ready written materials.
• Gather market intelligence and provide insights on industry trends and talent movements.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified professional with experience in permanent placement, corporate recruitment, executive search, or professional services.
• Proven track record of working with C‑Level executives and senior leadership hires.
• Methodical, diligent, and disciplined approach to research and candidate engagement.
