Senior Associate, Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Associate to join a highly regarded procurement team in Sydney, working closely with a senior partner on complex and strategic procurement and project transactions across construction and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and draft Public‑Private Partnerships (PPP) agreements.
• Prepare Design & Construct (D&C) contracts, including Early Contractor Involvement elements.
• Manage Contractor contracts and Services Agreements.
• Utilise Australian Standard and other industry contract forms.
• Develop Alliance contracts, Access agreements, and other contracting models used in construction and infrastructure.

Required profile

• 4+ years post‑admission experience in front‑end projects and procurement law.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, energy or transport sectors.
• Strong drafting, technical and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with commercial acumen.
• Leadership, mentoring and management abilities to support junior lawyers.
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for teamwork.
