Senior Associate - Business Execution

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Business Execution for Australia & PNG, the Senior Associate will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of ANZ's Institutional Australia & PNG business. The role works closely with the Institutional leadership team, finance, portfolio management and strategy groups to drive performance, implement initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth and support return‑focused initiatives across the Institutional business.
• Partner with Finance, Portfolio Management and Business Execution teams to deliver performance insights and business improvements.
• Analyse customer, portfolio and market data to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
• Support delivery of business initiatives, regulatory commitments and customer experience enhancements.
• Lead process‑improvement activities, increase efficiencies and manage ad‑hoc priorities.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, support team development and ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience and understanding of Institutional banking businesses.
• Tertiary qualification with ideally more than 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
