Senior Associate – Audit

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Audit practice in Adelaide. You will work alongside a data transformation team to design and deliver innovative audit solutions that automate key stages of the audit process, allowing more time for client interaction and strategic consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audits, taking audit risk into account and ensuring compliance with EY policies and protocols.
• Execute audit procedures with a deep understanding of the client’s operating environment.
• Collaborate with the data transformation team to develop custom, digital audit tools that streamline and automate audit activities.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to provide insights, recommendations, and high‑quality audit deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audit planning, execution, and reporting.
• Track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Relevant degree with progress towards or completion of a CA qualification (CA ANZ affiliated).
