Senior Analyst – External Audit (Perth)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead external audit engagements for its Perth clients. You will use your accounting and audit expertise to deliver high‑quality audit services while mentoring junior staff and staying current on regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior on external audit engagements, overseeing planning, execution, and reporting.
• Ensure audit quality by applying up‑to‑date regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Drive innovation by contributing to the development of new audit offerings beyond traditional services.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage multiple client projects, maintaining timelines and deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in external audit.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, commerce, or a related field.
• CA qualification (or equivalent) or close to completion.
• Professional services experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm is preferred.
• Exposure to a variety of engagements and industry sectors.
• Strong communication, leadership, project management, and multitasking abilities.
