Senior Advisor – Operational Risk & Resilience (Third‑Party)

About the role

As a Senior Advisor, Operational Risk & Resilience you will strengthen ANZ’s operational and resilience risk capability across the Technology division. You will act as a trusted first‑line risk partner, supporting risk assessments, regulatory and policy changes, governance activities and control‑uplift initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operational and resilience risk assessments across business processes, systems, data and end‑to‑end value chains.
• Implement, maintain and monitor operational risk and resilience for Group Technology, including Third‑Party Risk Management.
• Partner with stakeholders to design, uplift and embed sustainable risk controls aligned to enterprise frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Review control design and effectiveness, identify gaps and support remediation activities.
• Analyse risk data, indicators and emerging trends to provide actionable insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong experience in operational, resilience or non‑financial risk within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Third‑Party Risk Management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, evaluate controls and identify risk themes.
• Knowledge of regulatory obligations, policy requirements and change‑management principles.
