Senior Advisor – Formation & Engagement: Leadership

About the role

The Senior Advisor – Formation & Engagement: Leadership will design and deliver impactful formation and leadership programmes that strengthen Catholic identity across schools and offices. Working within the Formation and Engagement Services, you will create contemporary resources, lead professional learning and partner with school and system leaders to embed meaningful formation experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver formation programmes for leaders and early‑career teachers, including retreats and service‑learning opportunities.
• Develop high‑quality, contemporary resources that reinforce Catholic identity and leadership practice.
• Lead professional learning initiatives that build capability in theological formation and faith‑based leadership.
• Partner with schools and internal teams to co‑design, facilitate and review formation programmes and resources.
• Analyse school and system data to inform strategic decisions and enhance formation outcomes.
• Contribute to system‑wide initiatives that build capability and drive consistent, high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering formation or leadership development programmes.
• Strong understanding of Catholic tradition, Scripture, theology and the Catholic Identity Framework.
• Proven ability to develop resources and lead professional learning for educators.
• Collaborative approach to partnering with schools, leaders and internal teams.
• Analytical skills to use data for strategic decision‑making.
