Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially astute Senior Accountant to manage and maintain our financial accounting and reporting processes. You will ensure accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial information while supporting business decisions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑of‑month close processes, including balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and review departmental OPEX performance against budget.
• Produce annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, processes, and controls to satisfy global audit and licensing requirements.
• Review and enhance internal financial controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Manage the lodgement calendar for a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction group.
• Prepare GST/VAT returns and Withholding Tax filings for applicable entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with CA or CPA qualification.
• Experience in Big 4 audit combined with commercial accounting experience.
• Background in fintech, digital assets, or emerging financial technologies.
• Strong technical financial and management accounting skills, especially IFRS expertise.
• Proven ability to apply accounting standards to new products and business streams.
• Solid understanding of business processes and internal controls across finance and operations.
• Experience with automation tools, process transformation, or accounting system implementations.
• Excellent communication, autonomous work style, and resilience in a fast‑changing environment.
