About the role

businessDEPOT is seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver high‑quality accounting, taxation and advisory services across a diverse client base. You will work hands‑on with clients while also shaping your own career path based on your strengths and interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting, tax and advisory services to a range of clients and industries.
• Build and nurture client relationships, developing your own portfolio over time.
• Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their work as needed.
• Focus on technical work, process improvement, or specialist areas as preferred.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve strong client outcomes and support business owners.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards qualification.
• Strong grounding in accounting and tax with experience on complex client engagements.
• Comfortable reviewing and supporting junior staff.
• Tech‑savvy, preferably with experience using Xero.
• Proactive, thoughtful, and curious about developing strengths over time.
