Senior Accountant – Business Advisory (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a fast‑growing Business Advisory team in Sydney CBD. The role goes beyond traditional compliance, offering exposure to sophisticated clients and strategic commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management and statutory financial reports.
• Assist with business advisory engagements and client consultations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and advise senior stakeholders.
• Leverage technology and AI‑driven tools to create efficiencies.
• Contribute to strategic projects and commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
• 3‑6 years of experience in Business Services, Advisory or Public Practice.
• Strong technical accounting and tax foundation.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial curiosity.
• Interest in technology, innovation and AI.
