Security Officer (NV1 / NV2 / PV Cleared)

About the role

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is recruiting Security Officers for its Canberra operations. The roles cover government and high-profile sites, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Applicants need a current security licence and an active AGSVA security clearance at NV1, NV2 or Positive Vetting (PV) level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage access control and monitor entry to secure facilities
• Maintain a visible security presence and respond to incidents as required
• Conduct patrols and monitor site activities
• Follow established security procedures and report security concerns
• Provide professional customer service to staff, visitors and contractors

Required profile

• A current ACT security licence
• An active AGSVA security clearance at NV1, NV2 or PV level
• Previous security experience, ideally in a government or high-security environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and work effectively as part of a team
