About the role
Amentum is looking for Security Monitors to manage contractors and visitors at a restricted site in Alice Springs, Australia. You will ensure compliance with security and safety protocols while maintaining site integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Control access for un‑cleared personnel and visitors, preventing entry to sensitive areas.
- Operate a hand‑held radio system to communicate with key stakeholders.
- Ensure visitors do not bring or use unauthorized electronic equipment.
- Enforce evacuation, lockdown, and security procedures.
- Prevent removal or theft of facility items and perform duties in extreme weather conditions.
Required profile
- US citizen with TS/SCI clearance or Australian with Top‑Secret Positive Vetting.
- Ability to follow policies, adapt to changing circumstances, and work independently.
- Must be at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and able to complete White Card Training.
- Commitment to safety, drug‑free workplace, and compliance with Amentum’s quality and procedure standards.
