Security Manager – Studio Operations & Asset Protection

About the role

The Security Manager will oversee all security functions for Disney Studios Australia across its Sydney and Gold Coast sites. Reporting to the Senior Regional Security Manager, you will ensure the safety of people, assets, and content while supporting production and event activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical, event, and production security for studio facilities and special events.
• Protect assets and intellectual property, including content protection for Disney Cruise Line port visits.
• Coordinate incident monitoring, investigative support, and workplace security initiatives.
• Liaise with internal partners, third‑party vendors, law enforcement, and global security teams during emergencies.
• Develop and promote security policies, procedures, and training for all studio business units and tenants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a security‑related role in the private or public sector.
• Relevant NSW security licences and professional security certifications.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and management processes.
• Experience in the entertainment industry with an understanding of production workflows.
• Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines.
