Second-in-Charge (2IC) Team Leader – Healthcare Administration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced healthcare administrator to act as the Second‑in‑Charge (2IC) at our Gladstone clinic. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will support operational leadership and ensure high‑quality service delivery for patients and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day clinic operations and oversee the administration team.
• Lead, support and supervise staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Handle reception duties, general administration, medical bookings and scheduling.
• Oversee results management, conduct preliminary medical assessments and administer health questionnaires.
• Process invoicing and related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Proactive, confident professional with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous administration experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar service environment.
• Demonstrated experience supervising or mentoring staff.
• Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Current CPR certificate or willingness to obtain one.
