School Learning Officer

About the role

Catholic Education Cairns is recruiting a School Learning Officer for St Monica's College, a Catholic secondary day and boarding college for young women in the Cairns CBD. The position is permanent, term-time, at 30.9 hours per week, starting 23 January 2027, with an hourly rate of $34.17-$35.62 gross plus 12.75% superannuation. The role requires applying knowledge with depth in some areas and a broad range of skills, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, organising work and meeting time constraints.

Required profile

• A Working with Children Blue Card
• Full support of the ethos of Catholic Education
• Tertiary qualifications at Certificate level or equivalent qualifications relevant to the position may be required, or other knowledge, qualifications and experience deemed necessary by the employer
• A Certificate IV in Education Support is advantageous
