School Cleaner (Full-time/Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for reliable cleaners to maintain a safe, hygienic environment at Aveley North Primary School. The role can be permanent or fixed-term and may be full-time or part-time, covering the 2026 school year through Term 2 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Internal cleaning of carpets, hard floors, toilets, furniture, fittings and windows.
• Dusting, rubbish removal and general upkeep of classrooms and common areas.
• External cleaning of verandas, covered areas, drinking troughs and removal of cobwebs.
• During school holidays: stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, pressure‑cleaning verandas and undercover spaces, and deep window cleaning.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Organised, honest, reliable and punctual.
• Understanding of safe cleaning procedures and relevant regulations.

Required skills

• Carpet cleaning techniques.
• Floor stripping and sealing.
• Pressure cleaning equipment operation.
• General use of commercial cleaning equipment.
