About the role

The Reece Group, a supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, is offering a school-based traineeship at its Plumbing Pymble branch, partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd. Year 10 students work towards a Certificate II in Warehousing Operations, combining work in the branch with certificate requirements such as workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments. Students work the equivalent of 1.5 days per week and must be available on Saturdays; extra hours during school holidays are available and recommended.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Reece's values, policies and procedures
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and staff
• Complete all requirements of the certificate, including workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments
• Process sales and manage stock
• Answer the phone to take messages and orders
• Build product knowledge and follow up with customers
• Help keep the branch at a high standard
