SAP Business Development Executive

About the role

Join cbs APAC as a SAP Business Development Executive and help drive growth across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with senior business leaders, understand their challenges, and match them with cbs' SAP consulting and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and position relevant cbs SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, BTP, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Business Data Cloud, AMS, and SuccessFactors.
• Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and follow‑up discussions.
• Manage the sales pipeline and keep opportunity records up to date in Salesforce.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, RFQs, RFP responses, Statements of Work and tender submissions.
• Support commercial discussions, contract reviews and negotiations.
• Collaborate with consultants, SAP partners and internal stakeholders to design customer solutions.
• Generate leads through SAP relationships, partner networks, LinkedIn, industry events, webinars and other activities.
• Assist in planning and executing customer events, webinars, workshops and executive roundtables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Inside Sales or Customer Engagement.
• Exposure to SAP, ERP, technology consulting or enterprise software environments.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and commercially driven.
