SAP ABAP Lead – Brisbane

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Lead to drive end‑to‑end SAP technical delivery across S/4HANA programs. The role involves leading the ABAP team, overseeing development quality, guiding technical design, and ensuring successful execution of custom development, integrations, and conversion activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ABAP development team across SAP S/4HANA implementation and conversion programs.
• Define and enforce technical architecture aligned with SAP best practices.
• Oversee the development of RICEFW objects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Drive custom code remediation using ATC and S/4HANA simplification tools.
• Govern SPAU/SPDD activities during upgrades and system conversions.
• Review and approve technical designs and code artifacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an ABAP Lead on SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of SAP technical standards and best practices.
