Samples Coordinator (Flexible Hours)

About the role

Matilda Veneer, a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality timber veneer and plywood products, is looking for someone to help create and manage its industry-leading samples, folders and boxes. The position is casual (or part-time) with flexible hours, based in Molendinar on the Gold Coast, within regular warehouse/office hours, and can grow for the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare samples, including selecting, cutting and coordinating production of timber veneer and plywood samples
• Coordinate and assist with picking and packing of orders
• Keep an inventory of samples
• Manage the distribution of samples and collate this information for marketing purposes
• Organise sample folders and boxes and manage the production of sample folders
• Perform other general warehouse and maintenance duties as required

Required profile

• Keen to learn, reliable and self-motivated
• Adequate numerical and written skills for accurate stock counts
• Experience with timber and/or timber products preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard software such as MS Office preferred
