About the role
SGS Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Sample Preparer to join its laboratory team. The role involves handling, preparing and managing samples for analysis across day and night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Unload, load, sort and weigh samples onto drying racks and reconcile them with submission forms.
- Milling samples, preparing sub‑samples, maintaining numerical order and preventing contamination.
- Offload sample and stock deliveries, reconcile deliveries and manage sample clearances after analysis.
Required profile
- Good literacy, attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks and meet site access requirements.
Required skills
- Forklift License (desirable).
- Previous laboratory experience (preferred).
