About the role

Join Hairhouse as a Casual Salon Assistant and work alongside experienced stylists to deliver a welcoming, professional experience for every client. You will learn the fundamentals of salon operations while developing hands‑on skills in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
• Shampoo, condition and perform basic treatments under stylist supervision.
• Assist stylists with client preparation, including tool setup and service coordination.
• Maintain clean, organised workstations and wash areas.
• Handle laundry duties for towels and gowns.
• Support day‑to‑day salon operations, including opening and closing tasks.
• Follow salon hygiene, safety and WHS standards.
• Share product knowledge to help customers achieve their hair and beauty goals.
• Drive sales through authentic passion for beauty and product expertise.
