Sales Travel Consultant - Mirrabooka

About the role

Flight Centre is hiring a Sales Travel Consultant for its Mirrabooka store in Western Australia. You will work full-time, on-site, on a rotating roster covering a 7-day trade, turning your love of travel into a career.

Key responsibilities

• Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, by phone and by email
• Sell the whole holiday, including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises and transfers, working towards individual KPIs and sales targets
• Build a customer base of new and returning customers from domestic to international holidays
• Advise customers on travel-related questions such as visas, best time to travel, packing and local food

Required profile

• Seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations
• Great organisational skills, able to manage a calendar and respond quickly to calls and emails
• Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy, high-pressure environment
• Enthusiasm and warmth that makes customers want to book again

Required skills

• Savviness with computers, able to switch between complex booking systems
• Ability to find the right flight and package options for customers

• Wage boosted to $65K equivalent for the first 90 days; average first-year earnings of $70K, with senior consultants averaging $100K and team leaders $138K, including superannuation and penalty rates
